Mitiku K. Kayamo

is the Founder of Timar Ethiopia and a PhD Candidate in Economics at Indiana University. His works focus on investment and financial analytics, Economics of Philanthropy, Health Economics and Policy Development. 

Driven by a strong commitment to voluntary service, besides being the founder of Timar-Ethiopia, he also serves as Vice President of The Indiana Project, advancing financial literacy and opportunity for underrepresented communities in the United States. Through Timar-Ethiopia and public crowdfunding, he has managed to sponsor international exam fees for talented students- enabling more than 15 to pursue education abroad across the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Australia. In addition, thousands more have benefited from webinars, mentorship, LinkedIn engagements and Telegram Networking. 

He continues to expand partnerships with governmental and nonprofit organizations to create pathways through scholarships, networking, collaboration, and sponsorship for the financially challenged Ethiopians.
